This year’s Pre-First Thanksgiving play was showcased digitally to Pre-First parents via video today. Titled ‘The First Thanksgiving’ students learned about the history behind the North American holiday, and the first encounter between the Wampanoag and the European pilgrims.
Relating to Pre-Firsts ‘How We Express Ourselves’ unit of inquiry, Pre-First delved into the symbolic meaning behind pumpkins, turkeys, corn and ships. We are very proud of their fantastic performance!
