As the holiday season wraps up, we reflect on a magical and memorable December here at Escuela Lomas Altas. Winter Performances: Honoring Traditions with Joy and Creativity
Our beloved Winter Celebration continues to be one of the highlights of the year! Both our primary and kindergarten students dazzled us with their creative performances, showcasing their teamwork, talent, and enthusiasm. These cherished performances have been a long-standing tradition at ELA, bringing joy not only to the students but also to families, friends, and the entire school community. This year, once again, the spirit of collaboration, celebration, and creativity lit up the stage and warmed our hearts. Holiday Cheer with Santa Claus
December wouldn’t feel complete without a visit from Santa Claus himself! Sparkling eyes and wide smiles lit up every corner of the school as Santa made his special stop at ELA. Students greeted him with pure excitement, and the atmosphere was filled with the magic of the season. As a school community, we cherish these opportunities to spread holiday cheer and joy, and this year’s celebration was yet another precious memory to treasure.
A Festive Christmas Bazaar
Another highlight of the holiday season was our Christmas Bazaar, which filled the campus with warmth, vibrancy, and the spirit of giving. This annual event, now in its third edition, brought together individuals from all corners of our diverse ELA community. With unique items, crafts, and treats on display courtesy of Bazaar Lomas Altas, the bazaar was a hub of festive activity and connection. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and contributed to the success of this wonderful event. Events like these underscore the importance of community—the heart and soul of ELA.
Interactive Day: Learning Through Play and Collaboration
In December, our Kindergarten students also participated in “Interactive Day,” a fun-filled day dedicated to movement and teamwork. Through games and activities designed to build coordination, collaboration, and creativity, our youngest learners embraced the joy of play and meaningful connection. Whether they were working on team challenges or celebrating individual victories, their energy and enthusiasm were a testament to the magic of learning through fun.
ELA Staff Retreat: Teamwork and Celebration in Ixtapan de la Sal
Our teachers and staff play a vital role in making ELA the incredible place it is, so what better way to celebrate their hard work than with a well-deserved weekend of relaxation and bonding? The ELA team headed to Ixtapan de la Sal for a staff retreat, celebrating the outstanding results of our IB Evaluation. Between games, laughter, and meaningful conversations by the pool, the retreat was an opportunity to look back on our achievements while gearing up for what’s ahead. Moments like these not only strengthen our team but also renew our passion for maintaining the high standards of excellence that define Escuela Lomas Altas.
